Marc J. Grossman, MD
Marc Grossman, M.D. is a board certified physiatrist who
treats musculoskeletal ailments including spine disorders,
arthritis, and sports injuries. He specializes in fluoroscopic
lumbar spinal injections and electrodiagnostic testing.
Dr. Grossman was born and raised in Silver Spring. He
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics from Haverford
College and then taught high school science and math at the
Landon School in Bethesda. He received his medical
degree from the University of Maryland. Following an Internal
Medicine Internship at Christiana Care in Delaware, he
performed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency
at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore where he also served as Chief
Resident. Subsequently, he completed a Physiatry Spine
and Sports Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in
New York City.
Dr. Grossman is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland,
has privileges at Suburban Hospital, and has been working
as a physiatrist in the Washington metropolitan area since
2007. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of both the
American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
and the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports, and
Occupational Rehabilitation.
